What happens when a musical idea is set in motion? It can gather momentum, splinter, get stuck, transform, or return sounding completely different. You can get lost in the repetition, accessing a meditative state. ‘In Motion’ brings together four works that play with repetition, memory and physical gesture – music that asks the performers not simply to count time, but to inhabit a unique space together.
